BOD POD and VO2 Testing
Great news for all of you who are interested in seeing where your training has been taking you. We now officially have our body composition testing (Bod Pod) available as well as the ability to measure your oxygen consumption (aerobic health). These are two state of the art methods for you to quantify your training. The main benefits are:
1. Objective results you can track to see how you are progressing in your training.
2. Take your fitness to another level by understanding specifically what it is you will need to do reach your goals.
3. Understand how your body is changing as you get older. Hopefully the information these tests provide will actually help you to see your body be younger!
For the competitive and recreational athletes among us, Totum will be applying its expertise with outstanding equipment and methodologies. We are now set to officially provide a top class environment from which we can help athletes or anyone who is seriously goal focused work towards objective improvement.
This process will begin with any important assessments necessary for determining the starting point and then carefully planning out the direction forward.

Yet another exciting development for Totum’s clients, our cafe offers amazing tasting and very healthy breakfast and lunch meals, smoothies, juices, gluten free treats and coffee.
With the cafe, we have identified a need for great tasting but healthier choice for meals. The area is slowly evolving into a foodies paradise, but that does not always equate to proper fuel for those working out or trying to adjust their eating habits. We are all for treating yourself from time to time, but what about healthy meals that taste great and of course serve the purpose of fueling you properly? That’s where he cafe comes in.
Our involvement with helping to develop Youth movement skill and performance is just beginning. We focus on two groups, youth who need to learn to move better and youth who want to improve athletic skill. In both cases we take an objective but fun approach to helping participants improve. Pre and post assessments are performed and results presented so we can show the difference this type of programming can make.
